Aite..im back...im back to blog bout THAIPUSAM...before tht lemme clear ur doubts bout this festival...on this day,we indians dont get angpau's frm married ppl,wear new clothes,eat a kings feast..dei i juz described chinese new yaer..haha.k k..this day is more about spiritual beleives.its like this--lets say u vowed to get straight a's,n then u got all the a's...so u participate on thaipusam day to 'repay' the gods..we have the ordinary ones like the milk pots,n the major one called alaagu kavadi(beautiful milk offrering)..wateva tht means..ok.we indians have to fast by goin vegetarian for as long as one to three weeks..durin fasting we have to walk,act talk,spaek n think wit good intentions..bcoz on the eve there is an event where u put ur palm in a kuali with hot oil to take out a 'jemput-jemput' look alike thing..if u break ur fast like ter..or sumthin...u'll see the consequences...so let me take u to the eve..

Aite...this is a little boy...blowing a shell.....boy...its rilli loud u noe....haha.its acctually one of the ways where in the olden days people blow tht for warnings n all...but nowdays we can only respect those shells by using it for prayers..
The young guy,Deva is going to be the barrier of the main kavadi.he is only 20 and he has to take the kavadi bcoz it is a family tradition...thtz his dad telling him wat to do n wat not to do...cuz he kinda looks rilli lost rite.. haha
if u look properly,the elderly man has sumthin on his mouth.he cant talk when he wears tht..i noe u ppl muz be wondering why muz they be half naked.but acctualy,wat they r wearing is called a whaisthi..looks like a sarong,but its not cuz they wear it in a way where it looks like a pants...ussualy for dancers as well.

As i was sayin,tis are the so called 'jemput-jemputs' that r put in the kuali to be fried...not to eat it la...but for us the devotees to take them out...look at the fire...look at the oil..n they expect us to put our palms in it...wont u suffer first degree burns?who in the rite mind wud do such a thing?

U can see for urself now rite,how hot it is..just the bahang already can make u faint.i used to think so...tht 'oh ur hand will burn'..but reality is,it wont.if u fast,n have good intentions towards people..u dun suffer the consequences.but if u do sumthin wrong..like break the rules while fasting,every1 will noe tht u r sinful..it rilli determines tht.u think its juz sum fairytale fact..but im telling u its true.looks impossible to put ur hands in tht rite..?i was juz standing n suddenly,a fren of mine jus told me,''if u arent scared ,give it a shot'' n im like''im not scared..i have a camera in my hand'' he said''i'll hold it 4 u''

I TOOK IT!!thtz my palms.....haha....k it looks bad but trust me it isnt..yes it was hot(u saw the kuali rite),it was rilli freaky and it took a lot of my guts to put my hands in it..acctually its all in the mind..all in the mind....the fouth finger was like freakin red...but it didnt hurt...looks like i pass my fasting period well..at least i had good intentions to those who even thought i had bad intentions...u noe after putting my hands in,i did wat nithya always does...LAUGH!!haha....yea...this is juz the eve see la,if got time...i put more pics ok...esok or sumthin...

Gosh...i feel like a looser lar wei....i have a blog but i dun blog.....sadistic sial......haha...ok....watz new??!!one thing,in my personal life is that the TRUTH is out.......wat truth??nevermind.....one day,u will noe....(i think)lately,i've been up till like 2 a.m in da morning....trying to finish the cerpen in kerusi as well as putera gunung tahan.....dei,jungle of hope is like full of crap.....fren told me to do the pearl....can ar??u think emilda will let??i doubt so....maybe she mite ask us to do both....haha......while being awake,i'll be busy sms-in away.....this month i spent rm 50 juz for credit!!!screw me la!!!!ok.....i wun do tht anymore la...i'll juz use my dads phone instead!!!haha...While sms-ing......darn vinod played a huge prank on me until i almost cried.....ALMOST!!rilli la....then i got rilli pissed.....didnt hesitate to call him an idiot!!haha.....after that,i tak shuang la.....so we both played a massive prank on one of our friends.....MASSIVE!!it was called plan BITCH,CARRIED OUT ON 29 DECEMBER AT HR :2000...that victim of ours rilli fell for it.....but when she found out bout da prank....she called us,idiots,dogs,pigs,mangos,bananas........sumore wht??HAHA....but seriously....we got no better work la....so this is how i spent my holidays...irritate ppl!!!haha.....there was once i was online till like 4 a.m....if im not mistaken,i saw yvonne ho online till tht time.....fun la....but i was told...to enjoy my last year of school with all my frenz......'look at them like u never looked at them before'...(that keeps running in my head,cuz it will be our last year to get into major troble,talk crap,laugh hysterically,n bithing bout ppl....)damn its our LAST!!!we better treasure it,cuz we definately wanna leave with the best memories ever.......cuz in college it aint gonna be the same....After this,we gotta make big decisions....HUGE ones....where u gonna go,wat u gonna do.?watz ur cup of tea?as for me.....im torn in between medicine n journalism.........cuz......i was juz wondering....i want to be a doctor,but their lives r hectic until they r old....can i live up to tht standard?am i smart enough?do i have wat it takes??whereas journalism...offers da best outta me....talkative,fantastic social life.....news coverage,broadcasting....travelling....gosh....!!im confused gila la!!!!!!ok...i will make my decision sumhow la......BUT...I juz want to travel after spm....budjet travelling....across asia.....go back packing.....hiking....like rilli how discovery channel always show....seriously la...damn fun.....yea yea...i'll plan n plan....but usually it wun happen cuz....aiyar....it the typical me......haha......but one day la....sumhow....haha....ok ok....u guys muz be like rilli studying for next year rite....?so gud luck n all the best.....oh yea.....those in science 1 n 2....r gonna be safe...u guys wun get scolding 4 class terbising!!science 3 is so gonna get tht.....cuz IM gonna be there....itz the normal me....wherever i am...i'll make it noisy...hopefully we dun kena jemur in da sun cuz of me......hopefully we can make it the most gempak year...!!!hhaha....mary george is so gonna hate me....tht one i predict..hehe...tht means more frequent visits to da principals office.....i mean to get signatures la.....not get scolding....i hope......so alrite machaa's.......u guyz have a great new year ok...!!!2007 here we come!!!#those who wants to like join me make it the most memorable year....juz stick wit me....i'll assure u tht....!!but u gotta be preapared for sum major pranks or sumthin la.....!!haha...im like talking as though there is no such thing as SPM.....man,tht tot scares me to death la dei....kk im out.....niya

wuhoo!!!!did i have a good time or wat in camp???it was fantastic la....we went as urusetia's.....so like daa we loved it.....but i think i liked it the most la....dun fikir until so serong.....juz liked it cuz....ok i'll juz share a little sumthin-sumthin i had....so u judge...ok...
DAY ONE :
we reached early...kinda la....punctuality is important in st john rite...i bet u all noe why...haha...we were incharge of the girls accomodation....where did they sleep??in classrooms...gosh it was filthy dirty la.....S.A.B...is rilli dirty....it looks like a new block,but darn,i was cheated...it was filthy...curtains were dusty,reminds me of a haunted place....electricity all not working....fish la!!th
Then we chose 'Papa camp' n 'Mama camp'......Kelly was 'Mama camp'....coolness....but u noe wat slack the most....talentime was on the first day.....so everone like shy shy...and wee tak came up wit this....

Then later on,we had work....think wat urusetia juz sit n do nothing but laugh ar...we had patrol duty....to keep the participants safe n sound...we had to walk around their blocks.....guess wat time was mine????it was frm 3 to 6.30.......fantastic rite....but luckily lingesh stayed up wit me n hou ling..he updated us wit his...everything....*winks*....but b4 our shift...me n hou ling didnt eat dinner so we went hunting for it....found it,ate it...ate what??JUNK FOOD!!!..while eating,vinod felt thirsty...so we went to 7\11 at 2.10 in the morning...he wanted sluurpy so badly....rushed in 7/11 only to find out tht there was no slurpy after 12.....ok....bought grape juice,i think.....n MARS!!!fantastic.....juz nice for duty.....keep me awake....duty finished at 6.30 rite...but i had to wake up the participants at 7.....mite as well stay awake...stayed awake,.....wee tak asked us to march.....fine....march.....until 9.30.....I DIDNT SLEEP!!!25 hours in the running of no sleep....DAY TWO :allrite...the day didnt end...it juz continued until i decided to get sum sleep in the afternoon...about two hours nap...it was kinda boring la...until at nite,we had TREASURE HUNT!!organised by ec...it was fun la...scarry la...wee tak went running around wit a warewolf mask to scare ppl...but i think i was the only one who screamed....hehe...scarry la....after treasure hunt....i knocked out...suppose to do duty,but the pelangi guys like rilli kesiankan me....until they didnt wake me up for my shift....DAY THREE :this day was full wit lectures......i attended them....suprising la..i wasnt sleepy...n oni two of us attended the lecture among ll the ajk's....the rest were fast asleep....or asleep in lectures....last time when we were participants,we dared not even rest our eyes if we were sleepy....me n vinod sat at the back,listening to the whole lecture AGAIN...2005,2005 n 2006.....especially the ones wit the same story line...munching mentos was my past time,while he went jentek-ing participants who felt sleepy with getah......*damn pain wei*.....Later at nite,i was damn pissed over sumthin....*winks*....damn pissed.....but i had to do duty....sat there n lepak wit hou ling,lingesh...n later on...a few more,we woke the participants up at 3.30,n made them hentak kaki...tell them a story,though we knew they were sleepy....i loved this la...watching them being tortored n tormented..haha...tis nite,i LEARNED alot...i learned tht everyone is human being,n no-one is in any position to comment or kutuk anyone unless u are intheir position....i learned this....its hard to explain....but,i gained sumthin....*everything happens 4 a reason*....i believe......DAY FOUR :It was a fun day...again,nithya didnt sleep.....i decided to follow up the classes cuz had a mission to do..hehe.....in the evening,me,shu pei n hou ling organised a telematch....!!man it was an obstacle course man....then it was MOVIE DAY!!!all the participants had to watch ''remember the titans''...is a great movie....after the movie...me n hou ling realised tht the 3 of us didnt eat dinner....shups had braces on,so it dint make a difference if she ate or not...but we were starving...so collin drove the 6 of us to the nearest mamak for supper....sum had roti bom,sum had roti tisu...i had roti pisang...we basically went mamaking la....eat,stare,laugh....haha....u have no idea wat happened...came back to S.A.B,n we all watched dhoom n don....chinese or indian,all watched hindi movie....bukannya faham...tapi....entertainment je la....then one by one fell asleep...hou ling made me walk back to bilik gerakan alone!!scaryy la....then left the two of us....watch the movie until 6.30....next day act like nothing happened...LAST DAY :Flag raising.......marching.....eat...lecture....clean.....end!!!haha......thtz it...But i had a great time la...especially the times when i dont sleep,go mamaking......n lectures....games.....damn gila fun la.....but this is a urusetia's point of view.....i think a participant's one wud be damn sadistic......but like daa.......u work hard first then u enjoy the rest of it.....when i was a participant...i felt like suicide is my only option...hahaha....but now...i take tht back...acctually a lot more happened...but i cant blog about it la...itz beyond words....in a nutshell......I LOVED CAMP!!!......wuhuuoo.......!!!!~niya~
